India and Italy have launched a five-year strategic action plan to enhance their bilateral relationship. The action plan, covering 2025-2029, aims to boost economic cooperation and collaboration in sectors like energy transition, space, and security. This follows extensive discussions between Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Giorgia Meloni. Both leaders emphasized their commitment to working together on global platforms to uphold shared values. They plan to hold regular dialogues and pursue joint initiatives, including the Global Biofuels Alliance and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor.
