INDIA bloc unveils manifesto promising 10 lakh jobs and ₹15 lakh health cover in Jharkhand
The INDIA bloc, led by Congress and Jharkhand's Chief Minister Hemant Soren, launched its manifesto in Ranchi, promising 10 lakh jobs and ₹15 lakh health insurance for families. The manifesto includes commitments to subsidized rations and affordable gas cylinders.
The alliance aims to increase the minimum support price for paddy to ₹3,200 and enhance reservations for various communities. They also plan to open medical and engineering colleges at the block level and establish industrial parks in every district.
Voting in Jharkhand's 81 assembly segments will occur in two phases on November 13 and 20, with results announced on November 23. The manifesto seeks to counter the BJP's recent proposals and outlines priorities for the next term.
