A 211-foot tall eco-friendly effigy of Ravana has been installed in Delhi's Dwarka Sector 10, claimed to be the tallest in India. It was built by 40 people over four months at a cost of Rs 30 lakhs. The effigy surpasses the height of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir replica and features iron construction, a velvet outfit, and a fibreglass crown. It has a foundation extending 10 feet underground. The effigy will be burned on Dussehra, October 12, 2024, symbolizing the eradication of societal sins.
