India opposes de-dollarization and has no plans for BRICS currency, says Jaishankar
At the Doha Forum 2024, Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated that India does not support de-dollarization and there is currently no proposal for a BRICS currency. He emphasized that the U.S. remains India's largest trade partner and that India has no interest in undermining the dollar. Jaishankar also noted the strong relationship between India and the U.S. during the Trump administration, highlighting the restart of the QUAD alliance under Trump.
