India to commission new warship INS Tushil in Russia on December 9
India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will commission the INS Tushil, a new stealth-guided missile frigate, in Kaliningrad, Russia, on December 9. This ship is an upgraded version of the Krivak III Class and part of Project 1135.6. INS Tushil is the seventh ship in the Krivak III series, with six already in service. It features advanced technologies and has undergone extensive trials, confirming its readiness for the Indian Navy. The ship includes 26% Indian-built components and will join the Western Fleet. Its commissioning represents a significant development in India-Russia defense cooperation and enhances India's naval capabilities.
