India has unveiled the 'Vajra Shot,' a handheld anti-drone gun with a range of four kilometers. The gun, developed by Big Bang Boom Solutions, has already been deployed by the Indian Army and Air Force, with orders totaling around $25 million. The 'Vajra Shot' can detect drones from a distance and disrupt their communication. Its lightweight design allows for easy portability, and it can adapt its output frequency, enhancing its effectiveness compared to traditional jammers. Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi showcased the gun at the 'Swavlamban 2024' exhibition in Delhi, which features innovations from various agencies. The event includes around 115 stalls highlighting advancements in defense technology.
