Indian Railways exceeds pre-Covid train operation levels

The Indian Railways is now operating more trains than before the COVID-19 pandemic, showing its focus on providing reliable services. He also talked about the ambitious Bullet Train project aimed at enhancing high-speed rail connectivity. In terms of environmental goals, Indian Railways aims for Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2025. The transition from diesel to electric power has made significant progress, with 97% of operations now electrified. The minister noted that the organization is likely to achieve its emissions targets ahead of schedule.
