Indian student leaves U.S. after visa revoked
Ranjani Srinivasan, an Indian doctoral student at Columbia University, has voluntarily left the U.S. after her visa was revoked. The Department of Homeland Security cited her alleged support for Hamas, a group recognized as a terrorist organization. Srinivasan used the CBP Home App to facilitate her departure. She was in the U.S. on an F-1 student visa while studying Urban Planning. The visa cancellation was due to security concerns related to her activities.
