A woman in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested for stealing Rs 1.5 crore from her live-in partner. She felt scared that her partner might leave her after living together for a long time. To ensure she kept his money, she plotted with her brother-in-law. On March 13, Shivali Jadon, a beauty parlour owner, reported a theft at her home in the Shubh Labh Prime Township. She returned from an errand to find her door broken and four bags missing. Three of these bags belonged to her partner, Ankush, and contained business money linked to a property deal. The police began their investigation and reviewed CCTV footage. They saw two individuals in burqas committing the theft. Police later arrested Shivali's brother-in-law, Dhiru Thapa, who was a former policeman dismissed for criminal activities. He had disguised himself during the crime. After the theft, Dhiru and Shivali handed the stolen money to another accomplice, Praveen, who is still on the run. Shivali had shared details about her partner's finances with Dhiru, which led to their plan. Her sister was shocked to learn about the conspiracy, as she had no idea what was happening. The police are continuing to question both suspects.
