Industry leaders discuss future automotive technology trends

Jyoti Malhotra from Volvo Auto India highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence. He discussed how AI can enhance safety for pedestrians and drivers through technologies like LIDAR and advanced driver-assistance systems. According to him, these technologies will help address potential hazards on the road. Ravi Bhatia from Jato Dynamics raised concerns about accessibility in the automotive industry. He pointed out that technological advancements can sometimes create gaps among users. Bhatia stressed the need for solutions like high-density batteries and better charging systems to make new technologies more accessible. As the summit wrapped up, participants recognized that while the potential of emerging car technologies is significant, overcoming challenges related to safety, sustainability, and inclusivity is essential for the future of automotive innovation.
