"Inter Alia" starring Rosamund Pike to screen globally
The U.K.'s National Theatre Live announced plans to release "Inter Alia" in cinemas, featuring Rosamund Pike as a London Crown Court judge. The play runs at the Lyttelton theatre from July 10 to September 13. This production is a reunion for writer Suzie Miller and director Justin Martin, known for their previous success, "Prima Facie." In "Inter Alia," Pike plays Jessica Parks, a judge balancing her job with family life. She is described as smart and caring, also enjoying karaoke with her family. The story takes a turn when an unexpected event disrupts her balanced life. Other actors in the play include Jamie Glover and Jasper Talbot. The play will be broadcast live in U.K. cinemas on September 4 and will be available worldwide starting September 25. Suzie Miller expressed excitement about the upcoming release, noting that National Theatre Live has successfully connected with audiences globally. Additionally, National Theatre Live will re-release the acclaimed 2014 production of "A Streetcar Named Desire," starting on June 5. This revival features Gillian Anderson, Vanessa Kirby, and Ben Foster. National Theatre Sky Arts is the main sponsor for National Theatre Live in the U.K.
