International rescue teams mobilize in Bosnia after floods and landslides
Rescue teams from neighboring countries and the European Union have arrived in Bosnia to assist with recovery efforts after severe floods and landslides. The disaster, caused by heavy rain, has resulted in at least 18 deaths and left 10 people missing. The village of Donja Jablanica was particularly affected, with many homes buried under debris. Croatian rescuers are already on the ground, while teams from Serbia and Slovenia are expected to join soon. Other countries, including Montenegro and Turkey, have also offered assistance. Local elections scheduled for today have been postponed in flood-affected areas, as the disaster has overshadowed the voting process nationwide. Bosnia continues to face challenges in its recovery and political stability.
