Internet suspended in Sainthia after Holi violence
Internet service has been suspended in parts of Sainthia, West Bengal, following clashes during Holi celebrations. The suspension began on Friday at 8 PM and will last until Monday for public safety. Twenty-one men have been arrested due to the violence, which resulted in injuries on both sides. Prohibitory orders are in effect, and police presence has increased in the area. Voice calls and SMS services remain operational, allowing for communication despite the internet shutdown. Another clash occurred in the Kirnahar area, but no major injuries were reported.
