iPhone 16 Pro Max manufacturing cost revealed as Apple maintains high profit margins
A recent report reveals that the manufacturing cost of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is $485, while it retails for Rs 1,44,900 in India. This highlights Apple's significant profit margins, with costs slightly higher than the previous iPhone 15 Pro Max. The increase in manufacturing costs is attributed to hardware upgrades, including a more expensive display and camera system. New RAM technology and slightly pricier components like the A18 Pro chip also contribute to the higher Bill of Materials. Despite these increases, Apple maintains a gross margin of around 70%. The company continues to focus on enhancing features while ensuring strong profitability.
