Apple's upcoming iPhone SE 4, expected in early 2025, will feature the company's first in-house 5G modem. This marks a shift from relying on Qualcomm for modem components. The iPhone SE 4 will still use a Broadcom Wi-Fi chip. In addition, the iPhone 17 Pro, set to launch in late 2025, will include an Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip. Analysts predict that Apple's custom Wi-Fi technology will be widely adopted in iPhones by 2027. The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to have a design similar to the iPhone 14, with features like a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, and a 48-megapixel camera.
