IPL 2025 auction continues with key player signings on Day 2 in Jeddah
The IPL 2025 Auction continued on Day 2, with teams aiming to fill 132 remaining slots. Notable purchases included Priyansh Arya, who joined Punjab Kings for Rs 3.8 crore, and 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, sold to Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.1 crore. Bhuvneshwar Kumar returned to Royal Challengers Bengaluru for Rs 10.75 crore, while Deepak Chahar was acquired by Mumbai Indians. The auction has seen a total of Rs 467.95 crore spent on 72 players so far. As of now, 493 players remain unsold from the initial list of 577. Teams have a combined budget of Rs 173.55 crore left to complete their squads. The auction is taking place at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
