IPL 2025 auction kicks off in Jeddah with 577 players up for grabs
The IPL 2025 auction is taking place for the first time outside India, at the Abady Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The venue can hold 15,000 spectators, and 577 players are available for bidding. Among the players, 367 are Indian and 210 are from overseas. The player pool expanded to include Jofra Archer, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Hardik Tamore. Teams have 204 slots to fill, with 70 reserved for overseas players. Each franchise must finalize a squad of at least 18 players by the end of the auction.
