IPL 2025 auction kicks off with major price hikes for top Indian players
The IPL 2025 mega auction began in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with 72 players sold for a total of Rs. 467.95 crore. Twelve players remained unsold after the first day. Five Indian players saw significant increases in their base prices. Rasikh Dhar topped the list with a 20-fold increase, followed by Naman Dhir at 17.5 times. Nehal Wadhera and Abdul Samad both had 14-fold increases, while Rishabh Pant's price rose 13.5 times.
