IPL 2025 auction set for Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah

The IPL 2025 mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 577 players will be available for signing, with 46 players already retained by the teams. The auction will feature 12 marquee players first, followed by other capped and uncapped players. The second day will include an accelerated auction starting from player No. 117. This auction marks the second time the IPL player auction occurs outside India, following the 2023 event in Dubai. The Abadi Al Johar Arena, which opened in July, has a capacity of 5,000 seats and can accommodate over 10,000 standing spectators.
