IPL 2025 auction set for Jeddah with unchanged incremental bid amounts

The IPL auction for the 2025 season will take place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, featuring 577 players. Each team's budget has increased to Rs 120 crore, up from Rs 90 crore in 2022. The incremental bid amounts remain unchanged from last year. Teams will bid Rs 5 lakh for amounts up to Rs 1 crore, Rs 10 lakh for bids between Rs 1 and 2 crore, and higher increments for larger amounts. The Board of Control for Cricket in India clarified that for a base price of Rs 1.25 crore, the second bid will be Rs 1.30 crore, following the standard rounding rules.
