IPL 2025 auction set for Jeddah's Abadi Al Johar Arena on November 24-25

The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the 2025 season will take place on November 24-25 at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This marks the first time the auction is held outside India. A total of 574 players will be available for selection by the 10 franchises, down from 1,574 who registered. The auction coincides with the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy Test between India and Australia, with the auction starting after the day's play. BCCI officials have finalized logistics for the event, with franchises expected to stay at the nearby Hotel Shangri-la. An accelerated process for player selection will begin after the 116th player is presented.
