IPL 2025 mega auction to feature 1,574 players in Jeddah

The IPL 2025 mega auction will feature 1,574 players in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 25-26. This includes 1,165 Indian players and 409 overseas players, all vying for spots in the T20 league. Among the players, there are 320 capped and 1,224 uncapped players. The auction will have 204 available slots, with 70 reserved for overseas players. Notable players include Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and KL Rahul, who are part of the marquee group. For the first time since 2018, marquee players are divided into two sets. Teams will use Right-to-Match cards to retain players, with some franchises having multiple cards while others have none.
