IPL Fan Parks return to 50 cities in India

Cricket fans in India are getting excited as IPL Fan Parks are returning for the 2025 season. These parks give people the chance to enjoy the Indian Premier League (IPL) experience, even if their city does not host live matches. The parks offer a fun atmosphere with giant screens showing the games, music, food, and various activities. Fans can gather with others to cheer on their favorite teams, all in a setting that feels like a stadium but closer to home. This year, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is expanding the reach of the Fan Parks. They will be set up in 50 cities across 23 states and one union territory. The event runs from March 22 to May 25, covering ten weekends filled with cricket excitement. Not only will fans watch games, but they can also enjoy food stalls and live music. Activities are available for everyone, including virtual batting games, bowling challenges, face painting, and a 360° photo booth. New cities joining the Fan Park initiative this year include Kakinada, Dimapur, Karaikal, Manbhum, Purulia, Rohtak, and Tinsukia. The first events will start in cities like Rohtak, Bikaner, Gangtok, Kochi, and Coimbatore. Since its launch in 2015, IPL Fan Parks have made cricket more accessible by bringing the excitement to local communities.
