iQOO seeks under-25 Chief Gaming Officer in India
Smartphone maker iQOO is looking to hire a Chief Gaming Officer (CGO) who is under 25 years old. This role aims to co-create new devices and improve engagement with online gamers. The company is offering a six-month salary of Rs 10 lakh. The firm has opened registrations for applicants aged 18 to 25 to apply for the CGO position on its website. Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQOO, mentioned that this is a chance for young gamers to turn their passion into a career. The selected CGO will work closely with the gaming community. They will share insights about gameplay, gaming styles, and present new ideas. The CGO will also help develop smartphones and lead the company's eSports strategy. iQOO has noted that the number of gamers in India has been increasing significantly, at a rate of 14.6 percent each year over the past six years. Recently, the company collaborated with seven famous gaming icons to test their devices and gather feedback.
