Ireland and other countries recognize Palestine amid Israeli atrocities

Ireland, along with Norway and Spain, recognized Palestine, bringing the total UN member states recognizing Palestine to 146 out of 193. Israel has killed at least 36,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including 15,000 children. Israel has bombed and destroyed universities, hospitals, schools, and killed journalists and medical workers. International courts have sanctioned Israel, with arrest warrants issued for top officials. Direct sanctions are needed to pressure Israel to cease its actions.
