Ireland is expected to have a mostly dry week, with temperatures reaching up to 16 degrees Celsius. Met Éireann has issued a weather forecast indicating that while the start of the week will be pleasant, rain is expected to return by the weekend. The national meteorological service noted that after the dry period, unsettled weather will begin on Friday. Showers are predicted to start in the south before spreading across the country. Rain is expected to continue into Saturday, Sunday, and possibly Monday. Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather mentioned that while the initial dry conditions will last until Friday, the exact amount of rain for the weekend remains uncertain. He explained that weather models are not in agreement regarding the amount of rainfall expected. On Tuesday, the weather will remain mainly dry, with some isolated showers in the southwest. Temperatures are forecasted to be between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius. Tonight will be cold, with potential frost and temperatures dropping to between minus 2 and plus 4 degrees. Wednesday is expected to start with frost and mist but will clear up to a mostly sunny day, with temperatures ranging from 11 to 15 degrees Celsius. Thursday will also be dry with sunny spells, and temperatures will range between 13 and 16 degrees. As the weekend approaches, scattered showers are predicted for Saturday with temperatures around 13 or 14 degrees. Further rain and unsettled weather are expected to continue into Sunday and Monday.
