Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain retires from touring after health recovery

Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain, 72, has announced his retirement from touring with the band. This decision follows his recovery from a stroke in January 2023, which left him partially paralyzed. McBrain will remain involved with Iron Maiden through various projects but will no longer participate in extensive touring. His final performance with the band took place on December 7 in Sao Paulo. Iron Maiden is set to continue their Future World Tour and will begin a new tour in 2025. The band, formed in the 1970s, is known for hits like "Run To The Hills."
