Isaiah Vance is NCAA runner-up in Indianapolis tournament
Pitt-Johnstown's Isaiah Vance finished second at the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships in Indianapolis, while Trevon Gray placed fourth. Both wrestlers are now two-time NCAA All-Americans, marking a strong performance for the team. Vance, the fifth seed at 285 pounds, reached the finals but lost in overtime. He previously finished fifth in 2024 and plans to return for the next season. Gray, the eighth seed at 125 pounds, advanced to the third-place match but was pinned, securing fourth place. Pitt-Johnstown placed 13th overall in the team standings, with Nebraska-Kearney winning the title. Coach Tyler Reinhart praised both wrestlers for their efforts and noted their potential for future success.
