Israel ends cooperation with UNRWA amid ongoing strikes in Gaza and Lebanon
Israel has informed the United Nations that it will end cooperation with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which provides humanitarian aid in Gaza. This decision follows accusations of UNRWA's ties to Hamas and new legislation passed by Israel's parliament.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue airstrikes in Gaza and Lebanon, targeting military positions. Recently, the IDF killed a Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon, who was linked to attacks on Israeli forces.
In Gaza, Israeli artillery reportedly struck the Kamal Adwan Hospital, injuring children. The hospital's director reported significant damage from nearby bombings, but the IDF has not commented on these incidents.
