Israel notifies UN of end to relations with UNRWA following parliamentary vote
Israel has officially informed the United Nations that it has ended its agreement with UNRWA, which has been in place since 1967. This decision follows a recent vote by the Israeli parliament to ban the UN relief agency for Palestinians.
On Sunday, Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip resulted in over 30 deaths, with nearly half occurring in the northern region, according to Palestinian medics.
Additionally, a former spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister has been detained for actions that may have affected negotiations related to Gaza. Yemen has also announced plans to respond to intelligence about Israeli shipping companies selling their assets.
