Israeli airstrikes kill 10 in Gaza and 2 in West Bank
Israeli airstrikes early Tuesday killed 10 people in the Gaza Strip, including four children and two women, according to Palestinian officials. Strikes also occurred in the West Bank, where Israeli forces killed two in an airstrike and shot a third person.
The Israeli military claims it targets militants, stating that they often hide among civilians. Since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, over 43,000 Palestinians have died in Gaza, with more than half reported as women and children.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces have conducted near-daily raids since the war started, resulting in at least 767 Palestinian deaths. Most of those killed are believed to be militants, but civilians have also been affected.
