Israeli airstrikes kill at least 33 in Gaza as hospital is targeted again
Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have killed at least 33 people, primarily in the northern town of Beit Lahiya. The attacks included a strike on Kamal Adwan Hospital, injuring patients and medical staff. This marks the second consecutive day the hospital has been targeted.
The U.S. has criticized Israel for not improving the humanitarian situation in Gaza, stating that the current efforts are insufficient. The U.S. previously warned Israel to take specific actions within 30 days to avoid potential restrictions on military aid.
Since the conflict escalated on October 7, 2023, over 43,000 Palestinians have died, and more than 102,000 have been injured. In Israel, around 1,139 people were killed during the initial Hamas attacks.
