ISRO chairman urges youth to explore space innovation
The chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), V Narayanan, encouraged young people to explore new opportunities in space and science. He spoke at the Chhatra Sansad India Conclave at Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar on Friday. During the event, which had over 20,000 attendees, Narayanan emphasized that India is not in competition with other countries. Instead, he said, the focus is on advancing India's own capabilities. He expressed confidence that the youth will play a vital role in making significant progress in technology and space exploration. The gathering featured several prominent figures, including former Union minister Smriti Irani and motivational speaker Jaya Kishori. Irani urged young people to overcome challenges and actively contribute to India's growth. The event's theme, 'Vision India 2047: Bharat@100', pointed to a future where India aims to achieve great things by its 100th year of independence.
