ISRO chief encourages youth at Chhatra Sansad
The 8th Chhatra Sansad India Conclave took place at Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar, attracting over 20,000 young people. The theme for this year’s event was "Vision India 2047: Bharat @ 100." Notable attendees included V Narayanan, the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), and former Union minister Smriti Irani. Other guests included motivational speaker Jaya Kishori and Nagaland's minister for tourism and higher education, Temjen Imna Along. LPU chancellor and Rajya Sabha member Ashok Mittal opened the event and welcomed everyone. The ISRO chairman encouraged students to explore new possibilities in space and science. He stated that India’s focus is on its own progress, not on competing with other countries. Smriti Irani addressed the crowd, highlighting the importance of choices, integrity, and resilience. Her message aimed to inspire the youth to make strong and effective decisions for their future.
