ISRO's PSLV rocket launch on track as Cyclone Fengal passes without impact
ISRO's countdown for the PSLV rocket launch is on track despite Cyclone Fengal impacting Tamil Nadu. The storm did not affect the launch site, and weather conditions are favorable for the scheduled lift-off at 4:08 pm. The PSLV-C59 mission will deploy two satellites, Proba-3, for the European Space Agency. This mission aims to demonstrate advanced formation-flying technologies that simulate a total solar eclipse. The Proba-3 satellites will be launched together and will operate in close formation at an altitude of 600 km. This is the second ESA satellite launch using an Indian rocket, following Proba-1 in 2001.
