IT specialist accused of secretly recording female coworkers

A local IT worker, Joel Vergara, is accused of secretly recording female coworkers at the nonprofit Go to Nations. The investigation began in September after a coworker found a cellphone camera lens under a bathroom door. Police allege Vergara recorded multiple videos and tampered with security footage. He was arrested on Wednesday after investigators discovered voyeuristic videos on his devices, some sent to his email. Vergara has been suspended without pay and resigned from his position.
