Italian village offers one-euro homes to Americans seeking change after election results
The Italian village of Ollolai is targeting American expats following Donald Trump's re-election. It has launched a website offering homes for as little as one euro to attract those looking for a change after the election results. Ollolai has three housing options: one-euro homes needing renovation, ready-to-occupy houses up to $105,000, and free temporary homes for select digital nomads. The mayor emphasizes a fast-track process for American applicants. Despite previous efforts to attract residents, only ten homes have sold since 2018. The village continues to face depopulation, with around 100 homes still available for sale.
