ITBP wins top honors at Panchkula equestrian championship

The 43rd All India Police Equestrian Championship took place in Panchkula. This event showcased the skills of police riders from various forces across India. Rakesh Kumar, a head constable from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), won the police horse test riding his horse named Amber. Sandeep Khatana from Delhi Police came in second place on his horse, Tilak. Dhruv Singh, a head constable from the Border Security Force (BSF), took third place riding his horse, Jashan. In the medley relay event, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) “B” team won first place. The team included Surendra Singh on horse Appu, Aman Pathak on horse Rewa, and Yashpal on horse Champion. The BSF “A” team secured second place, followed by Chandigarh Police’s “A” team taking third. The championship attracted many participants from state police and Central Armed Police Forces. Winners received medals and awards for their achievements.
