J-Hope's "Mona Lisa" wins favorite new music poll
J-Hope's new song "Mona Lisa" was voted as the favorite new music release this week. The results of the poll were published on March 21 by Billboard. Fans overwhelmingly chose J-Hope’s track, giving it nearly 90% of the votes. Other songs in the poll included "I Said I Love You First" by Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, as well as tracks from Jack Harlow, Doja Cat, Jonas Brothers, and Morgan Wallen. However, none could compete with the popularity of "Mona Lisa." Released on the same day as the poll, "Mona Lisa" celebrates the beauty of a loved one. J-Hope's label, BIG HIT, describes the song as a love ballad that focuses on unique beauty and infatuation. This release follows J-Hope's recent collaboration with Miguel on "Sweet Dreams," which recently entered the Billboard Hot 100 at position 66. "Mona Lisa" is his first solo track since the March 2024 EP, "Hope on the Street Vol. 1." In the poll, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s song came in second place, receiving nearly 9% of the votes. Their joint album features multiple singles that were also released earlier. For more details on the poll and other new music releases, fans can check Billboard's Friday Music Guide.
