Jacinto Ng Jr. focuses real estate on helping the poor
Jacinto “Jack” Ng Jr. is a successful real estate developer who transformed his business strategy to focus on helping the less fortunate. In Holy Week 2016, he decided to base his companies, Elanvital Enclaves and Raemulan Lands, Inc., on this mission. Despite some doubts about his approach, Jack achieved remarkable results. Initially, he planned to sell 60 housing units a month. In November 2016, he sold 200 units, then another 200 the following month. By June 2017, sales reached 600 units per month, far exceeding his expectations. He noted that selling affordable housing requires much more effort than traditional condominiums. Jack attributes his success to a combination of hard work and divine guidance. He emphasizes that the speed and ease of the homebuying process compared to the usual challenges make it appealing for buyers. As he became more vocal about his spirituality, he also adapted to challenges in the housing market caused by economic disruptions. In 2023, Jack launched Solaris, a renewable energy company that installs solar panels on homes. This initiative supports socialized housing and aims to address poverty while achieving several United Nations goals. Jack aims to greatly expand housing production in the coming years while remaining true to his mission. He also founded a fine-dining restaurant, The Empress Dining Palace, which survived the pandemic by adapting its services. With strong community ties, Jack sees the restaurant as a way to connect different cultures. Reflecting on his journey, Jack describes it as one of struggle and redemption. He honors his father’s legacy by serving low-income communities, aiming for a sustainable future in housing and energy.
