Jack Devine is a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award

Jack Devine, a defenseman for the University of Denver, is recognized as one of the top ten finalists for the 2025 Hobey Baker Memorial Award. This award honors the best player in college hockey. This is the second consecutive year Devine has made it to this prestigious list. Selected by the Florida Panthers in the 7th round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Devine has impressed many during his time with the Pioneers. This season, he has scored 13 goals and accumulated a total of 54 points in 39 games. Last season, he finished with 27 goals and 56 points. His 54 points currently lead all Division I hockey players. Additionally, his 41 assists are the highest in the nation. The final three candidates for the Hobey Baker Award will be announced on April 3. The winner will be revealed at a ceremony on April 11 in St. Louis, just before the NCAA Championship game.
