Jack Dorsey publicly supports Tesla amid rising vandalism
In a recent social media exchange, Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter, expressed his affection for Tesla. He quoted a Tesla post saying, “Make things people love,” and added, “I love Tesla.” Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO and owner of X, replied with three heart emojis, marking a rare moment of public agreement between the two tech giants. Their interaction gained attention as Tesla faces challenges in the form of vandalism across the United States. Many of Tesla's properties, including showrooms and charging stations, have been targeted in violent incidents. These include attacks with Molotov cocktails and arson. Musk has claimed that the violence is organized and funded by left-wing groups, although he hasn't provided solid evidence for these assertions. Dorsey’s support is significant since he had previously criticized Musk's leadership. After Musk's $44 billion purchase of Twitter, Dorsey said Musk “should have walked away” from the deal. He described Musk’s time as CEO as problematic. However, Dorsey has recently shifted his view. He commended Musk's dedication to free speech on X and criticized Twitter's past reliance on advertising as “sinful.” Dorsey praised the decision to make the company private, calling it “the greatest act.”
