Jack LaSota arrested for connection to six deaths
Jack "Ziz" LaSota, a computer programmer and self-proclaimed leader of a group called the Zizians, has recently faced legal troubles linked to a series of deaths across the U.S. LaSota, 34, was presumed dead after a boating incident in 2022, but it turned out she was alive and became a point of interest in multiple criminal investigations. In January 2023, Pennsylvania state police found LaSota in a hotel room during a murder investigation related to the deaths of her associate Michelle Zajko's parents. Zajko and another associate, Daniel Blank, were also present. They were later arrested in Maryland in February 2025. All three have been charged with several crimes, including possession of firearms. Authorities have linked the Zizians to at least six deaths in various states. This includes the recent killing of a U.S. Border Patrol agent and a case where a man named Curtis Lind was murdered after he had been implicated in a violent altercation with LaSota's associates. Lind was the key witness in that case and was killed shortly before his testimony. LaSota originally gained attention for her radical theories that blended philosophy and gender identity. Many of her followers are described as vulnerable individuals who became influenced by her extreme ideas. The Zizians have been described as a cult, with some experts expressing concern about their intense ideology. LaSota's legal troubles escalated with additional charges filed against her and her associates in Maryland. They are scheduled to appear in court soon, and it remains unclear what future actions will be taken against them as investigations continue into their connections to various homicides.
