Jaime King forced to vacate Los Angeles rental home
Actress Jaime King is facing eviction from her rental home in Los Angeles due to a dispute with her landlord. King, 45, signed a lease in April 2023 but reportedly owes about $42,580 in unpaid rent since January. Her landlord, Sheila Irani, claims King has not paid any rent and has locked her out of the property. King's attorney disagrees with these claims, stating that King has been trying to gather the funds to pay her rent. They argue that King is facing financial hardship partly caused by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, which posed a threat to her home. The situation has been made more complex by a custody battle over her two sons with ex-husband Kyle Newman. Newman was recently granted sole physical custody of the children, while King has been involved in a rehabilitation program and parenting course. After negotiations, King and Irani have reached a settlement. King must vacate the property by today, March 22, 2025, and leave it in good condition. She has also agreed to forfeit her security deposit and will pay Irani an additional $1,000 for each day she delays moving out beyond the deadline. King's attorney has indicated that the eviction process is adding stress to her already challenging custody situation.
