Jaipur family sentenced for youngest son's murder

A city trial court in Jaipur sentenced a couple and their three sons to life imprisonment for the murder of their youngest son. The incident occurred over a property dispute nearly two and a half years ago. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2.81 lakh on Nawab Khan, his wife Zaitun (also known as Alamdi), and their sons Amjad, Saddam, and Ashfaq. The case was brought to light when Salim Khan, the uncle of the victim, filed a police report on October 19, 2022. The additional public prosecutor, Satyendra Singh, stated that there were significant family disputes, especially between Nawab Khan and his son, Sameer Khan, who was 25 years old at the time of his death.
