James Carragher called up to Malta national football team
James Carragher, son of former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, has received his first international call-up for Malta. He recently gained Maltese citizenship through his grandfather. The 22-year-old plays as a defender for Wigan in the third tier of English football. He will join the Malta squad for World Cup qualifiers against Finland and Poland.
