Jamier Rose named Gatorade Maine Player of the Year

Noble senior Jamier Rose has been honored as the Gatorade Maine Boys Basketball Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season. Rose had an impressive season, averaging 19.83 points, 8.9 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 5.1 steals per game. His performance helped lead Noble to an 18-3 record and a place in the Class A South final. In addition to this award, Rose was named Mr. Maine Basketball earlier this month. He also received the Fitzpatrick Trophy, which is given to the top senior football player in the state. Rose, a 5-foot-10 guard, has had a significant impact on every game he played. Sanford coach Jake Mills praised him, stating that opposing teams recognize his talent and still struggle to contain him. Rose's skills and contributions have made him stand out throughout the season.
