Japanese man arrested for niece's murder in Osaka
A 41-year-old man in Japan has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his niece. The arrest took place in Osaka Prefecture on March 21. The police found the girl's body encased in concrete inside a metal case. She was believed to be around 6 or 7 years old at the time of her death. The girl's body was discovered in Yao, a city in Osaka Prefecture. The suspect, Noriyuki Iimori, had previously been arrested for abandoning the body. Police believe he killed his niece sometime between late 2006 and 2007. Reportedly, Iimori's sister had left home, leaving her daughter with him. An autopsy showed that the girl died from internal bleeding, caused by strong force applied to her abdomen.
