Jared Allen named Hall of Fame finalist for fifth straight year
Former Vikings defensive end Jared Allen is a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the fifth consecutive year. He is one of 15 modern-era candidates announced recently, alongside several first-time finalists. Allen, a four-time first-team All-Pro, has been a finalist since becoming eligible. Last year, he reached the final 10 but did not advance to the final five. This year, he faces competition from notable first-year candidates like Eli Manning and Luke Kuechly. The Hall of Fame selection committee will meet in January to decide the Class of 2025. The final announcement will occur on February 6 during the NFL Honors show.
