Jasmine Omay becomes Universal Woman Philippines 2025
Jasmine Omay has been crowned as the new Universal Woman Philippines 2025. The event took place on March 25 at the Theater of Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City. Previously, Sophia Bianca Santos was set to represent the Philippines. However, she could not compete due to age eligibility rules. Santos is 21 years old, while contestants for the Universal Woman pageant must be between 25 and 45 years old. Jasmine Omay is a 25-year-old from Tarlac and has a background in pageantry. She was the First Princess in the Miss World Philippines 2024 pageant. Krishnah Gravidez won the title of Miss World Philippines, and four other finalists received various national titles. ALV Pageant Circle, which organizes the competitions, announced that Santos will now compete in the Miss Elite pageant in Egypt this September. This news comes after Maria Gigante, who represented the Philippines last year, became the first Filipino to win in the Universal Woman contest. As the new Universal Woman Philippines, Omay will aim to continue the country's success in the international pageant. She will travel to Jaipur, India, at the end of May for the competition, which concludes on June 9.
